Paris

Ah Paris.   Walked all over Paris from the Arc de Triumph, to the Eiffel Tower, to Napoleon's tomb and museum, to the Rodin museum and that was just the first day!  HA!  Off we then went to the Louvre where we spent 4 hours or so going through the Egyptian exhibits and then off to see the hundreds of people taking pictures of the Mona Lisa!  I wondered as I looked at the Egyptian exhibits and all that they had done and left behind I was a bit concerned.  What have we left behind?  We throw away everything.  In a thousand years will people be diggning up our cell phones, ipods and old diapers?  Gross!  HA!  I still love Paris even though it is full of the French.  We are now in Caen which will be our home base while we tour WWI and WWII sites. Here are the Arc, tower and the gates of hell.  Do the gates look familiar to anyone walking into an office?  Just a question.  HA
Cheers,
Andrea

  1. Yes, yes, it's all interesting. But, what of the food? The chocolate, the cheese, the pate, the wine?? Especially the wine?

Thx again for teaching Lily bad-words in the form of "Green is the best" and "Go Riders Go"... was funny with a family full of Stamps fans wondering around Bath and Lily yelling out her potty words haha

  3. It was just a matter of time before Andrea got into a proper stock and/or pillory although I can't remember the difference. For your entertainment, and owing to your inspiration, I've also started a blog: 1000 days in Aquitaine (http://1000daysinaquitaine.blogspot.com). It may get quite bizarre as time goes by.
