Dubrovnik

After a quick ten minute ferry ride from Korcula over to the mainland avoiding having to go through a Bosnian border (they have a small port that seperates Dubrovnik from the rest of Croatia) we were back on the mainland again.  A beautiful ride down through vineyards that they have to hand pick and be roped in to pick the grapes because the slope is ridiculous.  Am hoping you can see it in the pictures. We ended the cycling part of the trip.
So our last few days in Croatia were spent in Dubrovnik.  This is a really ancient walled city (lets be realistic everything in this country is really old, there is not a lot of nasty grey concrete buildings that I expected to see because it used to be part of Yugoslavia).   The walk around the top of the wall that surrounds the city was worth it.  It was a smoking hot day but there were not a lot of people on it which was good as during the summer it is a really busy place.  Ok so as per usual I am having some issues with the "blogger" setup.  So you will have to read and then look at the pictures.  The city is worth a visit for sure.  You can see by the happy look on Dwayne's face that he is thrilled is on another one of my let's just take a little walk.  The jaunt around the city walls takes about 2.5 hours usually.  At my pace all done in an hour and 15 minutes!  Getting prepared for the next stop Rome where there will be a lot of walking to be done.
