Sweden: Meatballs, Archipelagoes and really old ships

Sweden is a beautiful country.  We took an overnight ferry from Gdynia, Poland to a small port called Karlskrona in Sweden.  It is a small quiet town with a fabulous marine history and great seafood.  Since it was "neutral" in WWII the cities and towns survived without any damage.   Visited the Maritime Museum which was very well organized (a joy after Poland).  Stockholm is also a beautiful city with another great museum that contains the Vasa, which is a ship that was built (and sank after a fabulous maiden voyage of 1500m!) in 1628.  They started the 21 year recovery and restoration in 1956.  The ship is incredibly well preserved.  Fortunately, the ABBA museum was not open yet so Andrea could not force me to go.  Close call.  We are off to Russia so this maybe the last post as I expect Andrea will get me thrown into a Russian Gulag!
