Zanzibar

So after finishing our fabulous safari, off we went to the spice island of Zanzibar.  Now, lets be clear, it was not just a quick hop.  We left the Serena airport in a plane with 12 seats.  Ok, I took two gravol and hoped for the best.  However, we were not making just one stop.  We flew to the south, dropped off a couple of  passengers, picked up a couple and then flew to Arusha.  I managed to make those without throwing up!  Yeah!  We landed, dropped off some, picked others up, had a 15 minute break and took off again. I knew I was doomed so I took yet another gravol and passed out for that 1.5 hour flight over to Zanzibar.  Yuck!  Landed in Stone town and got whisked to our hotel.  We thought a walk around this UNESCO world Heritage site was in order.  After  a seven day hike and six days on safari we were not prepared for the onslaught of people trying to sell us stuff as well as everyone wanting to give us a tour!  AAAGGHH,  Way too many people!  After we wandered through the main shopping district, we got lost!  A nice local helped us back to our hotel for only 20 dollars.  Phew!  At least we made it.  After overnighting we got an hour and a bit ride to our Breezes resort.  It is off season right now, so the staff outnumber the guests, which is fine with us.  We will enjoy three days here before starting our journey home.  Sorry about the lack of pictures but I will rectify once I return home.  Thus ends yet another adventure
